Bracken Gully Farm in Cranston, Rhode Island welcomes neglected, discarded, abused, exploited farmed animals and provides them a safe enriching environment for them to live out their lives in safety.
The dream of Bracken Gully Farm started long ago. We are not a traditional farm. While we may offer various produce seasonally, our main focus are the animals that reside here. This is their forever home. Many of our residents were saved from slaughter, neglect, abuse or simply abandoned.
The intent is to educate, promote, and advocate for nonviolence, veganism and the abolition of animal exploitation. We are dedicated to raising consciousness on the negative impact that animal agriculture has on the earth, our health, and most of all, on the animals.

Funding:
We strive to be self sustaining. In addition to the care of the animals, we produce a wide variety of produce to meet the nutritional needs of the animals. All produce is organically grown. Otherwise, all supplemental feed (hay and grain) is locally sourced: as we strive to support our local small businesses and farmers.
The proceeds from the sale of fiber and wool products, produce (yes, we do grow produce for our stand and local seasonal markets) as well as manure goes to the care, feed, and veterinary needs of our residents.
We strive to be 100% funded through the sale of products, produce, and the donations from the kindness of our supporters.
